Week 33 : Sky

I really like how this week's theme turned out. They are so simple but I think they came out beautifully. They would definitely have been better for the "night" theme that is in a month or so, but I didn't see that theme when I took these. Oh well, they still have a sky theme. The model is the always lovely Sarah. The clouds are the same I used for my past week photo for the theme "dreams". They are made out of the fluff from my dog's toys he shredded. Take what you have and make the best out of it lol.

Week 32: Monsters

I was really excited for this week's theme, monsters, it's right up my alley. Sadly though it came on a week where I was busy doing other things. My concept I had decided on came from American Horror Story, "All monsters are human".  My original idea, inspired by my friend Sarah's suggestions failed =[. I definitely want to revisit the idea when I have more time and help (the concept involved a mirror and angles that was hard to do with just myself).  Anyway, luckily I tried the concept earlier in the week so I had time to redo the photo with a new concept. Here's the few pics of what the outcome was. These were taken around 1am last night lol. Sometimes you just got to blacken your eyes and create a black goo out of ink, chocolate sauce, and pudding and take pictures late at night, right? Anything for the shot.

Week 31: Street

It's been too long since I wrote a blog post. About a month to be exact. My bad, lol. This post is about my week 31 photo for the theme street.

My original idea I thought I was going to do when I saw this theme on the list forever ago, I decided to wait to do another time. Whoever made the theme list did not think about temperature. I mean February is generally pretty damn cold, least in my area. Course I know I could have been creative and down something inside, but I didn't lol.

For once I took this week's photos early in the week. Monday my only class my cancelled, due to snow in the northerner part of the state (where my prof is from). I used this extra time to kidnap my friend Dan, who I knew doesn't have classes on Monday, and forced him to be my model. Ok well I didn't exactly force him, I asked, and Dan seems to always be happy to help (he'll be appearing in more photos once I get around to editing them >.> )

So Dan came and picked me up and we drove like a minute from my house to this secluded road (the area I took the winter court pictures is right by here). There was about three different concepts that occurred during this short shoot, which you shall see below. I am pretty happy with them, and it was definitely worth getting my pants wet. (The ground was still wet from all the rain we got only an hour before these pictures, and I didn't think and was getting down low for different angles)
this looks so much darker when it's better quality

Prop is an axe from my dad's tools

Forgot the axe in Dan's car, luckily he remembered before his parents saw it, glad he didn't get pulled over!

I don't know why, but I liked this weird angle

 regular angle

I've been watching a lot of supernatural, can't you tell? I guess this one will be my week photo, since it required the most editing. The wings are from a dead bird I found... yea lol.
