You can tell when I don't like the week theme, my picture's tend to lack. I tried a few different concepts, but really just wasn't feeling it. I had to borrow my sister's glasses for this since I have no idea where mine are >.> Even though I didn't like this week's photos, it was nice just taking an hour to myself to take pictures in the studio. Self portraits really can be quite therapeutic. Here's the failed concepts and the one I picked for this week.

With the last snow (I'm hoping) of the winter, I was able to take some fun cosplay photos of my best friend in her Elsa costume. It snowed a lot yesterday and work gave me a snow day, so I had to take advantage of it. Me and Steph had planned to do this pics ever since she got his costume for halloween, but with the way our schedules were I thought we were never going to be able to do it this year. We got lucky with one last (crazy) snow storm. It snowed the whole day, and the snow was a lot more wet than I expected. I tried to protect my camera as best as possible with a plastic bag, but wetness still got on it. Due to that and the cold, the shoot was short. Me and Steph walked to the woods by my house. Steph with her dress stuffed into her jacket making her look quite funny. I was fully dressed in snow gear, I felt like ralphie from christmas story with all my layers and swishy pants lol. We took about 100 or so pictures and that packed up and walked back home to warm Steph up. She was quite the trooper, as always, with the cold. We got back, warmed up, dried my camera, and watch the phantom of the opera. My camera seems to be fine thank god. Overall I think the photos came out beautifully, I'm sure some little girls out there wish they would have found us out there in the woods, cause Steph looked great. Here are a handful of the photos from this adventure.
